Obituary of Christine Marilyn Brooks

West Sparta- Christine Marilyn Brooks, age 87, passed away early Thursday morning, October 18, 2018 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation where she had been a resident for many years.

She was born in Dansville, on June 6, 1931, a daughter of the late George and Mildred (Green) Martin. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Anabelle (Carl) Stein and Martha Martin.

Christine was a self-employed farmer, raising cows, sheep, and chickens at her home in West Sparta.

Surviving Christine are her children, Donna (Thomas) Maggio, George (Dawn) Brooks, her sister, Lucy (John) Collins, and several grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
