Obituary of Elizabeth Derrenbacher

Dansville-Elizabeth “Betsy” Derrenbacher, age 85, passed away Tuesday October 16, 2018 at Strong Memorial Hospital following an illness.

She was born in Dansville, on June 12, 1933, a daughter of the late William and Clara (Yochum) Beckerman. She was also predeceased by her husband Marlyn, her brother, John Beckerman, a grandson William Marlyn Derrenbacher.

She was a registered nurse at Noyes Memorial Hospital for many years. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Canaseraga, and she loved spending time with her family.

Surviving Betsy are her children, William (Theresa) Derrenbacher, James Derrenbacher, Monica (Phillip) Schillaci, a Brother in Law Gordon Derrenbacher, sister-in-law Nancy (Edward) Wager, grandchildren, Kyle (Ashley Hastings) Derrenbacher, Kearstin (Darren Knapp) Derrenbacher, Jacob Smith, great-grandchild, Lane Kyle Derrenbacher.

 A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Canaseraga on Saturday October 20, 2018 at 10:00am. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery Dansville. On line memorials may be made at Hindle Funeral Home.com.
