Obituary of Wilma I. Rodgers
Wilma I. Rodgers age 76, passed away early Saturday morning September 15, 2018, at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville after a hard-fought battle with cancer.
She was born in Wayland, on August 25, 1942, a daughter of the late Raymond and Minne (Sawdey) Jacobs. On July 31, 1980, she was married to Henry Rodgers, who predeceased her on December 27, 2016. She was also predeceased by two brothers, Barton and Richard Jacobs, and her best friend and sister in-law Patricia Jacobs.
Wilma was formerly employed at Up to Date Cleaners in Dansville. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, painting, gardening, cooking and rescuing cats.
She is survived by her children, Terri (William) Bingham and Loren (Nicole) Kershner, step-children Bob (Val) Kershner, and Laurie (Rick) Nagle, three grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and two nieces, Lori and Vicki.
