Obituary of Timothy D. Newland

Dansville- Timothy D. Newland age 72, passed away Saturday morning, May 5, 2018 at the Elderwood of Hornell following a long illness.

He was born in Hornell on October 22, 1945, a son of the late, Ulysses and Marion (Kyser) Newland. On March 25, 1989 he was married to Patricia (Jamison) Newland who survives.

Tim worked for Gunlocke in Wayland for a number of years. He enjoyed Carpentry, fishing, and target practice. He also enjoyed being with his family, traveling with his wife to Maine every summer. He loved working around the house and always meeting new people during his adventures. As a young boy he was involved in 4H, his passion for horses won him many awards. He loved all animals especially his two pups at home. He also had a love for older cars.

Surviving in addition to his wife Patricia are his children, Barbara Jean Newland, and Robert Daniel Newland, a sister, Judith Newland, his brothers, Martin Newland and Joseph Newland, 1 niece, and 1 nephew.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday May 9^th at 12:00 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home Inc. 271 Main St. Dansville. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
