Teaching with Connie in the Dansville Primary School in the 1970’s was an adventure to say the least. Connie and Bill were the great team down the hall from me in “C” Cluster. With their aid, Shirley Palmer, they gave a first class education to thousands of Dansville’s children. I remember her wit and playful nature in school and social functions that the faculty enjoyed. After her retirement we often spoke and I know how much she cared about her family and community. God Bless you Connie and your family.

My condolences to the Kane family. I had the pleasure of caring for Connie for a few months. She was a spit-fire. So glad she was able to remain in her own home for as long as she did. I sure did enjoy the stories of Groveland, her teaching career and many stories of raising her family. May the Lord bless you all with the memories and great life Connie had. God Bless

Connie is a legend in her own right... to so many she truly was an encyclopedia of knowledge on antiques, of people, community and local history.
She had a very subtle sense of humor and will always be remembered by those who knew and worked with her as a leader with a catalyst of ideas and clever ways of executing them.
The likes of Connie Kane will always be missed and there will never be another!
I am so sorry to know of her passing!

Just the nicest lady. Every year we visited my Dansville grandparents, I could walk across the street and be welcomed by her, and her husband, and all her sons. Truly a wonderful woman. My condolences.

Connie and I enjoyed looking at old pictures of the area and she shared her collection for me to digitize. Her garden was an inspiration and she so enjoyed working in it.
It was a pleasure to have known Connie!
