Obituary of Neva A. Gardner

West Sparta- Neva A. Gardner age 87, passed away early Thursday morning February 1, 2018 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris.

She was born in Dansville, on June 1, 1930, a daughter of the late Joseph and Alta (Eveland) Price Sr., On October 9, 1948, she was married to Vernon E. "Bud" Gardner, who predeceased her on January 10, 2008. She was also predeceased by a daughter, Bonnie Risby and siblings, Alice Knudson, Neil Price Sr. and Joseph Price Jr.

Neva was a former OR Tech at the Dansville Memorial Hospital and Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville. Neva and Bud resided in West Sparta for many years.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Michael (Susan) Jansch of West Sparta, Sheila Jansch of Vermont, Ann Marie Maracle and Marquita Shiever both of Florida, as well as several great-grandchildren, a great-great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Sunday 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc. 271 Main St. Dansville. A funeral service will be held at the West Sparta United Methodist Church on Monday at 11:00 am.
