Obituary of Nicholas W. Mark

Dansville-Nicholas "Nick" W. Mark age 85, passed away Sunday evening January 21, 2018, at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, where he had been a resident for the past few years.

Nick was born in Dansville, NY. On May 24, 1932, a son of the late Nicholas A. and Ruth (Schirmer) Mark. On January 21, 1961, he was married to the former Roberta Kuhn Mark, who predeceased him on May 21, 2005. He was also predeceased by a son Calvin Mark and a brother George Mark.

Nick enjoyed spending time with family especially Sunday dinners. Much of his time was spent working the NA Mark Farm on Zerfass Road in Dansville. He was a lifelong communicant of the Holy Family Catholic Community at St. Mary's Church in Dansville.

Nick is survived by his children, Dennis (Robin) Mark of Ontario, Joanne (Scott) Greene of Sparta, his grandchildren, Brian (Lana) Mark, Geoffrey (Stacy) Murphy, Ryan Mark, Danica Greene, Camden Greene, his great-grandson, Nicholas Calvin Mark and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Thursday Jan. 25 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home Inc. 271. Main St. Dansville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday Jan. 26 at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Church in Dansville. Intermet in Holy Cross Cemetery, Dansville.
