Dansville- Loren “Benji” Prial age 72, passed away Monday afternoon December 25, 2017, at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville.

 

He was born in Warsaw, NY on October 9, 1945.  He was a US Army veteran serving during the Vietnam era for 1967 to 1971.

 

Benji was a maintenance worker for Springcreek Properties of Dansville. He had also worked independently for many years in the building trades. He was a member of the Daniel Goho Post # 87 of the American Legion, the Frank J. Casbolt Post 6780 of the VFW and a charter member of the AMVETS # 0187..  In his free time he enjoyed time with friends at Conesus Lake, the American Legion and VFW.  Benji was a friend to many and enjoyed helping anyone he could.

 

He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Prial, three daughters, Laurie (Weldon) Kruchten, Becky (Peter) Stanley, Melinda (Chad) Gallipeau, a son James (Denise Martin) Prial, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. His good friends Stewart (Pat Tarbell) Jerome and Courtney Forester.

 

Friends may call Friday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home Inc. 271 Main St. Dansville, NY 14437. Services will follow calling hours at the funeral home. Interment with Full Military Honors will be in Greenmount Cemetery Dansville. Online remembrances may be left at HindeFuneralHome.com
