Obituary of Dorothea F. Mauro

Dansville- Dorothea F. Mauro age 87, passed away early Monday morning August 28, 2017, at the Vincent House in Wayland.

She was born in Rochester on January 31, 1930, a daughter of the late Everett and Frances Borher West. On May 6, 1950, she was married to Donald P. Mauro, who predeceased her on January 31, 2016. She was also predeceased by her siblings Everett West and Barbara Bates.

She is survived by six children, Dee Dee Briggs of Dansville, Diane (Keith) Haywood of Endicott, Debbie (Eric) Holbrook of Dansville, Dennis (Tracy) Mauro of Ossian, Denise (Mike) Cloonan, of Dansville and David (Cherri) Mauro of Dansville, fifteen grandchildren and twenty one great-grandchildren; a sister Trudy VanDurme and a brother Lawrence West, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call Saturday from 10:00 to 1:00 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc. 271 Main St., Dansville. Service to follow at graveside and interment with Don in Rogersville Forest Lawn Cemetery South Dansville. Online remembrances may be left HindleFuneralHome.com.
