My Dear Neighbor Marion,
I shall truly miss you.
In the 4 years I have been your neighbor, you were the one I never heard a bitter word from.
As I gaze out my window, I shall remember seeing you tend the Flowers Steve & Mary would annually bring you; Recall how you would patiently wait for your ride to pick you up for Sunday Church, and returning with a Pleasant Glow over your face.
I shall no longer hear your happy voice as you talked to your Sisters on the phone or the Ladies on the porch.
Yet, in my Minds Eye, I shall always remember your Face, Filled with Peace and Serenity, as you contently nodded in the noonday Sun.
Thank You for accepting me and having a hand in eventually breaking down those who rejected me.
I know your journey from here on will be most joyous.
Until we once again will be neighbors, I bid you farewell.
