Wayland- Alberta Mae MacDougal, age 89 passed away peacefully on August 9,2026, at Elderwood Nursing Facility in Hornell.
She was born in Wayland, on December 23, 1936, a daughter of the late Roy and Orleana (Saxton) Neu. She was also predeceased by her husband Richard MacDougal, a daughter, Bonnie Rae MacDougal, two sons, David and Tim MacDougal.
Alberta worked her life as a caretaker, she was kind and cared about others. She worked at the Kings Daughters and Son's home in Dansville for a long time.
She is survived by a son, Joseph (Nancy) MacDougal of SC; grandchildren. Adam, Zach, and Alicia.
