Nunda- Patricia Eileen Simmons age 74, passed away Saturday afternoon July 25, 2026, at Strong Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.
She was born in Nunda, a daughter of the late James and Josephine (Sthilly) Weaver. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her brother, Dennis Weaver. On July 7, 1972, she married Dennis Simmons who survives.
Patricia spent her life helping people by working as a nurse, most recently at the former Kings Daughters and Son's Home in Dansville. She loved bird watching, caring for her animals, tending her flower garden, and her family.
Surviving in addition to her husband Dennis, are their children, Shelby (Jason) Rodbourn, Shawn (April) Simmons, and Brian (Liz) Simmons, grandchildren, Jack Simmons, Wyatt Rodbourn, Abby Rodbourn, Audrey, Jaden, and Olivia Simmons, a sister Jeanne Coon, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
