West Sparta- Dolores F. Sauerbier age 92, passed away late Tuesday evening March 10, 2026, at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville with her family at her side after being transferred from home.

She was born in Attica, NY on May 20, 1933, and was a daughter of the late Albert and Florence (Geitner) Frantello. On July 2, 1955, she was married to Charles "Charlie" Sauerbier Jr., who predeceased her on Aprill 22, 2006. She was also predeceased by a sister Karen.

In her earlier years Dolores worked at Eastman Kodak Company, Shays Service of Dansville. She retired at age 70 from C.W. McNair Nurseries in Dansville as the office manager for over 40 years. Dolores and her late husband Charlie owned and operated Ferguson's Dress Shop in Dansville and were landlords to many apartments in Dansville. In her free time while raising seven children, she enjoyed cooking, baking and many shopping trips.

She is survived by five daughters Linda Sauerbier, Gail (Dan) Hoag, Diane Sauerbier, Brenda Eckerson and Deb (Neil) Fisher, two sons, Terry Sauerbier and Tim Sauerbier., a brother Donald Frantello and a sister Donna Oman, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at convenience of family at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc. 271 Main St., Interment will be next to Charlie in Oak Lawn Cemetery West Sparta. A luncheon will be held on Monday March 16 at 1:00pm at the Big Sky Restaurant 5570 Hartman Rd Dansville, NY 14437 Arrangements are by the , Dansville.
