Dansville-Shawn David Jewell, age 42, passed away Saturday November 29, 2025, at Strong Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Arizona, on January 9, 1983, a son of the late David and Joanne (Klein) Jewell.

Shawn loved Rock and Roll music, writing, mixing and playing guitar in his band. He loved cars, his red ford thunderbird, and his newest a Ford Bronco Sport. He enjoyed being outdoors, hiking at Letchworth and Stony Brook, and his vacations to the thousand islands. He enjoyed playing video games and spending time with his family. He was employed at ADT home security, and most recently at Wal Mart in Geneseo.

He is survived by his girlfriend of 22 years Aaron Kroll, his sisters, Stephanie Shattuck and Stacie Arnold, Aaron's parents, Larry and Jilann Kroll, Aaron's brother, Joshua Kroll, a niece, Paula, nephews, Dylan and Dustin.
