The Villages Florida/Dansville – Murray Deutsch age 75, passed away in Florda on September 19, 2025, following a brief illness.

Murray was born in Brooklyn, on March 18,1950, a son of the late Sam and Helen (Berkovics) Deutsch. He was also predeceased by his sister, Eva Blatt, and his brother, Louis Deutsch. On August 11, 1974, he was married to the former Karen Acomb Deutsch who survives.

Murray ran his own business as a Licensed Psychiatric Social Worker, continuing to practice even as they moved to Florida. He was a huge sports fan, cheering on the New York Yankees, and the Buffalo Bills. He loved to spend time reading or walking laps in their pool. He will be greatly missed by his clients and especially by his family.

In addition to his wife of 51 years Karen, are their children, Shaun (Kristin) Deutsch, Michelle Deutsch, grandchildren, Aden, Mason, and Callie Deutsch, Sister in laws, Jayne Acomb, Gail (Bill) McMurry, brother in laws, Alex Blatt, and Tim (Sally) Acomb, several nieces and nephews

A Levayah service will be held on Thursday September 25th at 11:00am at the Hindle Funeral Home Inc., 271 Main St. Dansville, NY 14437. Kevurah will be in Greenlawn Cemetery Dansville. Online memorials may be made at HindleFuneralHome.com.
