Dansville-Schoharie Patricia A. (Pat) Brewer 89 of Dansville New York, formerly of Schoharie New York, passed away early Saturday morning, August 9, 2025.

Pat was born in Suffern NY, on January 31, 1936, to parents Agnes and Lawerance Madden. Her father passed away when she was an infant. She was raised in Dumont NJ by her mother and loving stepfather Henry Tiencken. Henry adopted Pat at the age of 6. She married Walt Brewer, whom she had known since grade school. They married in March 1961. Walt being a career Marine, they moved around the country, to California and North Carolina. Upon his retirement from the military, they made their home in Schoharie NY.

Pat's career as a teller, starting right out of high school, rose to bank manager by retirement. She loved to work with numbers and assisting others with banking questions. She volunteered as a Girls Scout leader, and 4-H leader. Pat was an amazing seamstress and loved to sew for others especially for her granddaughters, when they were younger.

Pat is survived by daughter Patti (Curt) James, granddaughters: Tara (Kevin) Devine, Casey (Nick) Scinta, 6-great grandchildren: Kayla, Keiran, Logan. Elias, Kylian, and Ainsley. Pat cherished her time with her family and being part of their lives. Pat was predeceased by her parents, stepfather, brother Richard and her loving and devoted husband of 62 years Walt.

Pat's wishes were for private family service. The interment will be with Walter in Bath National Cemetery. Online memories may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
