Dansville- Joseph "Joe" Meyers age 72, passed away at home late Wednesday evening March 19, 2025.
He was born in Dansville on November 22, 1952, the son of the late Jospeh and Joanne (Witherell) Meyers Jr.
Joe was a US Marine Corps veteran serving from 1972-1974. He was a member of the Dansville Fish and Game Club, a former member of the Daniel Goho Post # 87 of The American Legion. He worked as a mason for many years with M&S Masonry and Bennett Brothers. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, smoking cigarettes and drinking beer.
He is survived by Patricia Werth Meyers, a son David (Erica) Meyers, grandchildren Makala, Gavin Meyers, Emma, Brooke and Allison Rogers. Morgan, Meadow and Megan Meyers and Olivia Singer; a sister Kathleen (Don) Woodhouse.
Friends may call Sunday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St., Dansville. Interment with Full Military Honors will be on Wednesday at 11:00 am at Holy Cross Cemetery, Dansville. Online memorials may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
