Dansville- Joseph F. "Joe" Taylor age 93, passed away late Thursday morning March 6, 2025, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester following a brief illness.
He was born in the Town of Conesus on June 30, 1931, and was the son of the late Everett Taylor. He was also predeceased by his wife Mae Holbrook Taylor and several siblings.
Joe was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean War. He was a long-term truck driver driving for Covered Wagon Train and many others. He was a member of the Daniel Goho Post # 87 of the American Legion and the Loyal Order of the Moose # 1130 for fifty years.
He is survived by two daughters Lynda (Paul) Van Durme, Jill Leibenguth and a son Dennis (Joanne) Taylor special stepson George (Tammy) Henry, three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a dear friend Doris Schledorn.
There will be no prior calling hours. Friends are invited to attend a graveside Military service on Monday March 10, 2025, at 11:00 am at Greenmount Cemetery in Dansville.
