Dansville- Alice R. Jones passed away late Wednesday afternoon October 30, 2024, just ten days after he 88th birthday at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville.
She was born in Andover, NY on October 20, 1936, a daughter of the late Henry and Faye (Clark) Beil. On August 5, 1961, she was married to Homer Jones, who predeceased her on June 2, 2008. She was also predeceased by her step sons Arthur and Raymond, and thirteen siblings.
She was a longtime faithful member of the Dansville United Methodist Church. In her free time, she enjoyed family, traveling, casinos trips, and watching television.
She is survived by her son Randy (Jerriane) Jones of Avoca, a daughter in-laws Joy Jones and Linda (Jones) Shiloh, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and her dear friends JoEllen Smith and Hope Johnson
Friends may call Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home Funeral Inc., 271 Main St. Dansville, where services will be held Monday at 11:00 am with the Rev. Gregory White officiating.
