Conesus Lake-Dansville- M. Janelle Phillips 81, passed away on December 13, 2023, surrounded by loving family at her daughter Lynn's home. She was always known as Janelle, and never Jan.

Janelle was born March 18, 1942, a daughter of the late Richard and Marta (Andresen) O'Farrell. She was graduate in 1960 from Notre Dame High School in Batavia. On March 12, 1976, she was married to the love of her life Harold "Bud" Phillips Jr., and they enjoyed 46 years of marriage until Bud died in 2022. Janelle was also predeceased by two sons Timothy Barrett in 2022 and Todd Barrett 2021.

Janelle retired from Suny Geneseo food service division. She was a communicant of St. Matthew's Church in Livonia and had attended Foursquare Church in Dansville.

Janelle is survived by her daughter, Lynn (Bill) Dockstader, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, a daughter in-law Jennifer Barrett, several stepchildren and their significant others. A sister in-law Barb (Stan) Domurski

Friends may call Tuesday December 19, from 4 to 6 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St. Dansville. Interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery in Rush. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
