Obituary of Christina Marie Buchinger

Dalton-Christina Marie “Tina” Buchinger age 47, wife of Todd Buchinger, passed away surrounded by her loving family at her home on Sunday January 28, 2018.

She was born in Rochester on September 18, 1970, a daughter of Richard and Donna (Kramer) Pernicone. On September 8, 2012, she was married to Todd Buchinger, who survives. Tina was predeceased by her father Richard Pernicone

She was a 1989 graduate of Keshequa Central School. Tina worked in child care and devoted her life to children. Tina enjoyed gardening, bowling, garage sales, spending the day on adventures with friends, baking, and most of all being momma to her son Jacob. Tina had an open heart policy and anyone was welcome into it. Because of that policy, Tina developed a large network of dear close friends.

Tina is  survived by her husband, Todd Buchinger, her son Jacob Buchinger, mother Donna (Roger) Wheat, brothers, Richard and Daniel Pernicone, Justin (Kari) Wheat, sisters Tammy Pernicone, Amber (Scott) Smith, Rossanne (Johnny) Mayfield, Sophia Buckle, and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces,  nephews, and friends, Tina will greatly miss (her favorite) Aunt Lynn.

Friends may call Friday Feb. 2 from 11-1 pm at the Oakland Wesleyan Church, 1519 NYS Route 436, Nunda, where a memorial service will follow calling hours at 1pm.  Following the memorial service a gathering of fellowship in Tina’s honor is planned at the Nunda American Legion. The family request that in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Nunda Ambulance Fund.
