Virginia Farmer age 85, passed away late Saturday afternoon October 29, 2016 at the Livingston County CFNR in Mt. Morris, where she had been a resident for the past few years. She was born in Springwater, NY on December 10, 1930, a daughter of the late Harry and Gretchen (Adams) Glover. On July 8, 1957, she was married to Raymond Farmer, who predeceased her on March 11, 2010. Virginia was a good mother to her children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with all of them. In her free time she enjoyed crafts, reading and playing bingo. She was a truck driver for KJ transportation. She is survived by her children, David (Amara Luna Mendez) Staats, William (Ron) Staats, Bonna (Brian) Kelley, Paula (Robert) Bailey, Rae-Dene (David) Le Vasseur, Raymond Farmer Jr., and Gretchen (Chris) Townsend; a brother Donald J. Glover; twelve grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Saturday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Springwater Church of the Nazarene where a memorial service will follow.
