Obituary of Sherri Lynn Hilsdorf

Dansville- Sherri Lynn Hilsdorf age 53, passed away unexpectedly early Friday morning June 24, 2016, in the Emergency Room at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, after being stricken at home. She was born in Wayland on August 14, 1962, a daughter of Nancy Alverson. Sherri was a graduate of Dansville Central School Class of 1980. She was employed in the Lab at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville for many years. In her free time she enjoyed working in her flower gardens at home, making candles, being outdoors, her pets, and reading. In the past she also enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Sherri is survived by her husband, Richard "Dick" Hilsdorf, a son Garrett (Kelly) Hilsdorf, a daughter, Tina (Tim) Heckert; grandchildren, Landon Hilsdorf, Ben, Richard and Dakota Johnson; two brothers, Kevin (Karen) Sawdey, Ricky (Robin) Sawdey; a half-sister, Michelle Sawdey; brother in-law, Jerry (Sally) Hilsdorf, nieces and nephews, Amanda Sawdey, Korey Sawdey, Kolin (Julia) Sawdey, many aunts, uncles and friends A memorial gathering will be held Sunday, July 17th from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, at the upper club of the Dansville Fish and Game Club.
