Obituary of Linda Jean Arndt

Dansville- Linda Jean Arndt age 70, passed away early Tuesday morning, June 14, 2016, at the Vincent House in Wayland, following a long illness. She was born in Wayland on August 25, 1945, a daughter of the late Broton Stone and Helen (Pickell) Arndt. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Broton Ardnt Jr., and Elma Alverson. Linda worked at the Department of Motor Vehicles in Dansville for over 25 years retiring as a Supervisor in 2009. She was a very active person joining many clubs and organizations such as, the Red Hat Society, the 50th Class Reunion Committee, Brownies and Girl Scouts of Atlanta and North Cohocton, the Atlanta Presbyterian Church in her younger years, and as a Volunteer at the Dansville Public Library. She is survived by her daughter, Leanne (Richard Perrine) Cornell, a granddaughter, Kaitlin (James Barlow) Cornell of Dansville, a brother Walter (Mary Cate) Arndt of Valencia, CA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. Friends may call Saturday from 11:00 am to 2:00pm at the Hindle Funeral Home Inc. 271 Main St. Dansville NY, where services will be held at the completion of calling hours. Interment will be in Clearview Cemetery N. Cohocton. Online Remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
