Dansville- Roger Fredric Krueger age 70, passed away late Tuesday night April 19, 2016 at the Vincent house in Wayland following a long illness. He was born in Jersey City, NJ, on July 11, 1945, a son of Frank and Margaret (Sonnen) Krueger. Roger was also Predeceased by his Wife, Marsha, his brothers, Frank and Ronald Krueger, sisters, Elspeth Frederick, Barbara Jaeger. Roger graduated from Dansville School in 1963, where he later worked as a special education teacher’s aide. Roger also work for Wilcox Press in Dansville until it closed. On December 30, 1972 he married Marsha Drum who predeceased him on March 3, 2016. He was active in the Dansville Community Player’s and a part of the Minstrel Show. Roger enjoyed writing poetry and he was a member of the Academy of American Poets. Roger is survived by his Daughter Deborah Ann Krueger, his granddaughter Kendra Ann Evans, his sisters, Gretchen (Lowell) George of Sparta, Kathryn Ann (Boris) Belik of Rush, Several nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call Sunday April 24, 2016 from 4:00-7:00pm at the Hindle Funeral Home Inc. 271 Main St. Dansville NY, 14437. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday April 25, 2016 at 11:00am at St. Mary’s Church, 43 Elizabeth St. Dansville. Interment in Holy Cross cemetery with Full Military Honors following the funeral Mass.
