Dansville- Sandra Lee Lander age 70, passed away early Monday morning March 14, 2016, at Noyes Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was born in Dansville on September 7, 1945, a daughter of the late Mark L. (Joyce Short) Weidman. On June 19, 1965, she was married to Stanley Lander who survives. Sandy was a Graduate of Dansville Central School in 1963. She was a devoted member of the Dansville United Methodist Church where she worked as a Secretary. She also worked as an aid at Dansville Central School, a civil service secretary in Korea, and at SUNY Geneseo College. She is survived by her husband, Stanley, and her two children Stephanie (Rick) Joseph of Cohocton, Stephen (Arminnie) Lander of Florida; a sister Judy (Richard) Sundlof of Ossian; her grandchildren Sarah, Rachel, Josh Joseph, Sienna Lander, Kayla Gruttadauria. Friends may call Saturday March 19, at 10-12 at the Dansville United Methodist Church 5 Chestnut St. Dansville NY, 14437 where funeral services will follow.
