South Dansville- Carol L. Seeger age 71, passed away early Tuesday afternoon June 23, 2015, at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville. She was born in Rochester, on June 15, 1944, a daughter of the late William and Eileen Caroll Riesenberger. On June 12, 1963, she was married to Hans Seeger, who survives. Carol was retired from Champion Knit in Perry where she was an inspector. She also worked in the deli at Wegmans in Hornell. In her free time she enjoyed gardening in her flower beds. Surviving in addition to her husband Hans, are two daughters, Carla (Paul) Simzer of Conesus, and Sheryl (Nick) Mosko of Arkport; a son Hans (Lois) Seeger of South Dansville; her siblings, Linda (Mark) Weinstein, Eileen (Ed) Bailey, John (Chris) Riesenberger, Thomas (Debbie) Riesenberger, William (Wendy) Riesenberger and Richard (Kim) Riesenberger, a sister in-law Adeline (Steve) Anstee, eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, her extended family, Becky Frazier and Chase Lewis, and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Sunday from 1 to 3 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St., Dansville, where a service will be held at the completion of calling hours. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Scottsburg. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com. In lieu of flowers please make memorials to the Hornell Area Humane Society.
