West Sparta- Glenn R. Wompole age 86, formerly of the Kysorville-Byersville Rd. in West Sparta, passed away Friday morning August 27, 2010, at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris where he had been a resident for the past few years.

He was born in West Sparta, on March 19, 1924, a son of the late Ralph and Isabelle Sanford Wompole. He was also predeceased by a brother Edwin Wompole.

Glenn was a pressman at the former Dansville Press in Dansville.

He is survived by his wife Frances Jamison Wompole a resident at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Friends may call Monday from 10:00am to 11:00am at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St., in Dansville, where services will be held at 11:00am with the Rev. Burton Smith officiating. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, West Sparta.
